Pontoon Boat Rental Process
Equipment Provided
Our rental pontoon comes equipped to capacity in safety life jackets, docking lines, bumpers and safety equipment. Also, our pontoon has a power bimini/shade top. Children 12 and under must wear a life jacket at all times. They will need a fitted life jacket. We have them available for rent at $10 for the duration of the rental. A tube and knee board can be provided for $75 for the duration of rental. All tubes are 3 seater tubes.
Requirements
All rentals are for Lake Gaston and boats may not be trailered. The primary renter must be 30 years of age or older and all operators must be of same age. All renters and operators must provide a valid drivers license. We recommend all operators have or take a boaters safety course. One can be found with this link. https://www.boatus.org/northcarolina/
Booking
Book online! Once you have selected your dates via the online calendar, you will be emailed a contract for signatures. We require a $750 non refundable deposit at time of booking. Remaining balance due 48 hours prior to rental pickup.
Check-in/ Pick Up
Meet us at Poplar Creek Boat Ramp for pickup/drop off
The primary renter is requires at time of pick up.
Please try to arrive 5-10 minutes early.
Please take this time to gather your group and gear prior to departure.
We will show you the boat, provide a safety talk, take pictures for damage and answer any questions you may have about operation!
The boat will be in the water, full of gas and ready to go. After we show you the boat and give you a safety talk, you are ready for your adventure!
Return
Rentals due back at 3pm on final day of rental
Rentals do not require a full tank of fuel upon return. Vessel will come with a full tank of fuel (included in rental price) and any fuel left at conclusion of rental will stay with vessel.
Upon returning, please take this time to gather your belongings and return the vessel in the condition it was at the start. Make sure all jackets are put away both bumpers are untied and stored and the vessel is otherwise in the same condition at the start of rental.
Cancelations
We require a $750 non refundable (rain or shine) deposit to reserve your vessel.
